Community Service & Leadership
Purpose
To honor students who actively uplift their communities and show leadership through service, advocacy, and positive influence.
Award Amount
Each selected recipient will receive a $1,500 scholarship to support their educational or training pursuits.
Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Demonstrated involvement in community service, volunteer work, school leadership, or youth programs
- Evidence of impact through service or leadership roles
- Plans to attend a college, trade school, or accredited training program
Ideal Candidate
A student who consistently excels in the classroom, values learning, and shows dedication to their academic goals. This student is disciplined, motivated, and committed to using their education to create long-term impact.
Required Materials
- Completed scholarship application
- Transcript (official or unofficial)
- One recommendation letter (teacher, counselor, or academic advisor)
- 300–500 word essay

Write a 300–500 word essay that describes your passion for serving others and leading with purpose. Share how you first became involved in community service and the experiences that strengthened your desire to make a difference. Discuss leadership roles you’ve held—formal or informal—and what they taught you about responsibility, communication, and influence. Highlight a moment where you directly impacted someone or helped solve a problem in your community. Reflect on how these experiences shaped your character, values, and future aspirations, and explain how this scholarship would help you continue serving and leading with intention.
