Legacy
Available only to students at Green Run High School – Virginia Beach, VA
Purpose
To honor the legacy of Brashawn D. Davis Jr. by awarding a Green Run High School student who embodies humility, compassion, and perseverance.
Award Amount
Each selected recipient will receive a $1,500 scholarship to support their educational or training pursuits.
Eligibility Requirements
- Current student at Green Run High School
- Demonstrated character, kindness, and commitment to uplifting others
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Strong academic record in core subjects
- Plans to attend a 2-year or 4-year college/university
Ideal Candidate
A student whose life reflects Brashawn’s values—kindness, generosity, resilience, and a heart for others. This student is known for their positive spirit, their willingness to help, and their desire to make a difference in their school and community.
Required Materials
- Completed scholarship application
- Transcript (official or unofficial)
- One recommendation letter (teacher, counselor, or academic advisor)
- 300–500 word essay
