Life Stability & Transitional 

Purpose

To assist students who are navigating life transitions or hardships while remaining committed to their education.

Award Amount

Each selected recipient will receive a $1,500 scholarship to support their educational or training pursuits. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Has experienced a significant hardship or transition, such as:

- Housing or financial instability

- Major family changes

- Health challenges

- Caregiving responsibilities

- Other documented adversity

  • Demonstrated perseverance and commitment to education
  • Plans to attend a college, trade school, or accredited training school

Ideal Candidate

A resilient student who has faced difficult circumstances yet continues to move forward with courage and determination. This student is focused on building stability and using education as a pathway to a better future.

Required Materials

  •  Completed scholarship application
  • Transcript (official or unofficial)
  • One recommendation letter (teacher, counselor, or academic advisor)
  • 300–500 word essay
  • Essay Prompt - Topic: Share a significant hardship or life transition that you have faced and explain how it has shaped your growth, resilience, and educational goals.

Write a 300–500 word essay describing a personal challenge you’ve experienced. Discuss the obstacles and emotions involved in navigating this experience, and the steps you took to find stability or support. Explain what you learned about yourself through this process—your strength, your needs, and your hopes. Reflect on how this hardship changed your outlook on life and influenced your goals for the future. Lastly, explain why additional support would make a meaningful difference in your college journey and long-term success.
